Corrosive liquids, chemicals and vapours attack steel from the moment they touch it — pitting the surface, thinning the wall and working toward the point of failure long before a leak is visible from outside. Underground and hard-to-inspect tanks are especially exposed, since the first sign of trouble is often the leak itself.
A glass flake or FRP lining is a barrier layer bonded directly to the steel, engineered to delay and resist that corrosion so your tank or vessel reaches its full service life — not the point where the steel gives out first.

Glass Flake Lining
- Laminated glass flakes suspended in a chemical-resistant resin, applied in multiple thin layers — 50 to 100 layers within every 1mm of thickness
- Glass flakes act as a barrier filler, laid parallel to the surface, delaying and resisting the penetration of corrosive substances to the substrate
- Resin systems selected for your chemical exposure and service temperature — polyester, vinylester and novolac vinylester grades
- Applied by trowel, spray, or roller depending on grade and thickness required
- Full system: primer, two flake resin layers and a top coat for a smooth, easy-clean, dust-resistant finish
FRP Lining
- Fibreglass-reinforced plastic lining that structurally acts as a secondary containment layer inside the tank or vessel
- Purpose-built for underground and hard-to-inspect tanks, where aging and corrosion could otherwise lead to an undetected leak
- Same resin family options as glass flake lining — matched to your chemical exposure
- Applied as primer, FRP mat and a resin-rich surface coat
